The Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring precise financial reporting in accordance with Pakistani financial regulations and accounting standards. This role encompasses team leadership, policy development, financial analysis, and reporting to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the timely and accurate closure of ERP modules, including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets, while upholding internal control policies and procedures.
• Review and approve transaction vouchers to guarantee the completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, adhering to IFRS and other relevant accounting standards, ensuring compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management, facilitating informed decision-making.
• Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process, delivering regular updates to the CFO and other stakeholders.
• Ensure punctual and precise compliance with tax laws and regulations, including the timely filing of tax returns and payments.
• Lead and nurture the accounting team, offering guidance and support to foster professional development and maintain high-quality work.
• Cultivate relationships with both internal stakeholders (e.g., department heads) and external stakeholders (e.g., banks and auditors).
• Continuously assess accounting systems, processes, and procedures, recommending enhancements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Supervise the organization’s ERP system, guaranteeing the proper setup and maintenance of accounting processes and procedures within the system.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of accounting policies and procedures, including the creation and upkeep of an accounting manual.
