Your responsibilities will span the development of robust Cloud strategies, the creation of secure and automated cloud-based applications, and the seamless migration of existing workloads to public clouds. Collaborating closely with client leadership and diverse engineering teams, you will identify, assess, and implement the optimal cloud solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders on harnessing the power of the Google Cloud Platform
• Provide hands-on support to the App Dev team, addressing platform-specific project requirements
• Conceptualize, design, develop, and rigorously test cloud-based applications
• Analyze existing application architecture to identify weaknesses and innovate opportunities for enhancement
• Ensure secure cloud environment management aligned with prescribed security guidelines and controls
• Lead targeted platform analysis, design, and development, culminating in a roadmap and actionable implementation plan
• Construct and optimize web services in the cloud, including the establishment of geographically redundant services
• Collaborate on client and project engagements, documenting technical prerequisites for databases, applications, infrastructure, and more

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Proficiency in private, hybrid, or public cloud technology
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP and other cloud implementations, encompassing architecture, design, and platform management. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Certification is a plus.
• Deep comprehension of Google’s product technology and underlying architectures through issue troubleshooting, root cause determination, and tool development
• Expertise in cloud-based serverless, storage, and developer tools technologies
• System and network administrator-level proficiency in Linux/Unix or Windows systems
• Exceptional troubleshooting and communication skills, adeptly managing multiple stakeholders
• Collaborative team player, taking ownership of challenges and actively engaging with cross-functional teams for effective problem-solving
• 5+ years of cloud architect experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to GCP
