Job Description
Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to design and oversee the implementation of strategic goals for Outreach field Offices. He/she will be in charge of supervising and capacity development of field employees, providing direction, feedback, and monitoring performance. He/ she will keep track of expenses, look for ways to make improvements, and ensure a good rapport is maintained between the main offices, community and local law enforcement agencies.
Specific responsibilities include:
- create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
- ensure resource planning and control in terms of allocation of resources, criteria for distribution, analysis of consumption patterns and measures to control resource
- visit field sites for monitoring and audit purpose frequently
- overall supervision of Team to ensure proper compliance of policies and smooth operations to facilitate commencement of project activities
- ensure timely allocation and supply of medicines and medical supplies on the field and seek approval from Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan.
- interact with all levels of management and be able to document existing processes, manage and analyze data, and recommend enhanced business processes
- be a liaison between operations team on ground and leadership to ensure completion of tasks and smooth implementation of grants / projects
- support the development of service and operating agreements
- ensure proper logging of inventory and supplies on regular basis to avoid any discrepancies.
- plan the long-term career development of staff and recommend relevant trainings for them with an aim for the enhancement of their technical capacity
- ensure that supplies, inventory and stock are distributed properly as per the requirement of project activities; also monitor those proper records have been maintained
- proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses
- evaluate departmental activities to assess compliance risk
- collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed
- responsible for the indoctrination of staff by continuous training and development of staff to get acquainted with modern financial techniques
- identify opportunities to improve work processes, enhance quality of service and productivity, and communicate. opportunities to department leadership and team
- supervise timely procurement and inventory and maintenance of database
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You should have:
- project management skills / course will be an added advantage
- a minimum of five to seven years’ of working experience at management level position preferably in a Health Care Organization.
- a minimum of MBA degree with project management and/or an engineering background (or equivalent) from a reputed university will be preferred
- excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to describe complex ideas in clear and meaningful forms and to present data and information to various audience
- proactive approch to management of day-to-day affairs
- familiarity with government health system and rural Sindh context.
- good language skills in Urdu and English (both written and verbal)
- the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- resilience and ability to cope up with work pressure and stringent deadlines
- commitment to ongoing training and development to foster a learning culture within the department
- willing to travel and work in the communities / rural field sites
- good networking and interpersonal skills
