Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining an effective financial management system, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and meeting audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervising all accounting transactions, payroll processing, adjustments, and monthly account closures.
  • Collaborating with the Oracle Functional Team (Oracle R12) to automate various reports and routine accounting entries, supporting the finance department’s operations.
  • Coordinating with financial institutions and legal authorities such as the Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI), Employee Old Age Benefits Institution (EOBI), and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
  • Reviewing financial statements prepared in accordance with the Companies Act 2017 and applicable IFRS standards in Pakistan.
  • Liaising with external and internal auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
  • Overseeing the filing of income tax, sales tax returns, and withholding tax statements for the company.
  • Reviewing monthly budgets and assisting the Director of Finance in overall budget control, monitoring cash flows, and managing expenditures.
  • Analyzing various management dashboards and performing assigned tasks as needed.
  • Ensuring timely closure of month-end balances.
  • Contributing to capacity building and knowledge sharing within the finance department.
  • Managing financial performance and implementing finance strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Adhering to MTBC’s information security and privacy policies.
  • Ensuring compliance with information security responsibilities specific to the job role.
  • Safeguarding assets against unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • CA Finalist qualification.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
