We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Legal Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law and the port industry, as well as excellent negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Safeguard the company’s legal interests by providing legal advice, drafting contracts and agreements, and representing the company in legal proceedings.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Keep the management updated on new laws and regulations affecting the business.
• Assist in the formation of contracts and ensure that the terms and conditions protect the company’s interests.
• Respond to legal notices and draft notices on behalf of the company.
• Provide legal support to various functions as needed.
• Assist in holding board and shareholders’ meetings.
• Comply with business risks and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum LLB degree from a reputed university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in handling corporate legal matters.
• Sound knowledge of laws affecting the port industry.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Computer literate and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create legal defense and proactive strategies.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
