We are looking for a talented and experienced Audit Valuation Specialist to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial valuation, modelling, analytics, and impairment reviews.

Responsibilities:

• Provide valuation and modelling expertise to audit teams on a variety of valuation estimates and assumptions
• Assess the appropriateness of valuation techniques and methodologies
• Develop independent point estimates or ranges for valuation accounting estimates
• Test the client’s process for developing valuation estimates
• Evaluate the work of management’s specialist to determine how and whether it can be used as audit evidence
• Plan, prepare, and review deliverables in various forms, including excel data books, written reports, presentations, and discussions with the client
• Establish a positive working and learning culture, excellent communication within the team, and a collaborative and open relationship with audit colleagues
• Provide coaching to team members and colleagues
• Participate in regular feedback cycles

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of seven years of experience in financial valuation, modelling, analytics, and impairment reviews
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
