The Copywriter will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying and targeting specific audiences.
- Writing content with a focus on SEO/SEM.
- Editing existing copy to ensure quality assurance.
- Ensuring consistency in style, tone, fonts, and images.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
- Coordinating with the marketing team to illustrate articles.
- Collaborating with designers to implement copywriting best practices.
- Researching industry-related topics.
- Writing clear marketing copy to promote products/services.
- Preparing well-structured drafts.
- Proofreading and editing blog posts before publication.
- Submitting work to editors for input and approval.
- Conducting simple keyword research and using SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Updating website content as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio of published articles/blogs and marketing materials.
- Experience conducting research using multiple sources.
- Experience writing for UK-based audiences (preferred).
- Familiarity with web publications.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in marketing copywriting, preferably with a marketing or creative agency.
