Duties & Responsibilities:

As an Oracle Developer with us, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks:

• Requirements Gathering: Gather business requirements from Oracle functional business and system analysts and translate them into specification documents.
• Technical Design: Conduct code reviews and actively participate in technical design processes.
• Oracle Support: Raise Service Requests (SR) in Oracle support and implement solutions in live systems.
• Problem Solving: Analyze complex business problems, locate necessary information, and develop technical solutions.
• Standards Compliance: Establish and enforce quality, security, and compliance standards.
• Application Development: Create business applications using Oracle and PL/SQL.
• System Enhancement: Develop, debug, and enhance existing systems while maintaining code quality.
• Independent Leadership: Lead, analyze, design, develop, and implement modules with limited supervision.
• Project-Based Development: Design and develop Oracle applications based on project requirements.
• Code Maintenance: Code, maintain, and design Oracle systems following established standards.
• Design Review: Understand project requirements and formulate design specifications, conducting initial design reviews and suggesting improvements.
• Documentation: Write clear code and prepare documentation.
• Collaboration: Provide technical assistance to other Developers as necessary and collaborate effectively with the team.
• Issue Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot system issues promptly.
• Reporting: Develop Oracle reports, database procedures, etc.
• Optimization: Optimize existing code to enhance Oracle applications.
• PL/SQL Expertise: Create PL/SQL database procedures, SQL scripts, functions, reports, and forms using standard tools like Oracle Forms, Report Builder, and BI Publisher.
• Hands-on Development: Engage in hands-on development while ensuring quality.
• Communication: Respond promptly to technical and general inquiries.
• Support: Support functions, including investigating problems and deploying solutions to live systems.
• Advanced Features: Utilize advanced PL/SQL features such as Procedures, Functions, and Scheduled Jobs.
• Oracle Forms and Reports: Experience in developing Oracle Forms and Reports within a WebLogic environment.
• Complex Form and Report Development: Proficient in modifying and creating complex forms and reports.
• Code Review: Ability to defend code and logic during formal code reviews.
• Problem Resolution: Capable of understanding complex issues and facilitating their resolution.
