Job Description
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Trade Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies and tactics to drive growth for both Mondelēz International and our customers. By understanding business metrics and financial drivers, you will collaborate with key account managers to implement plans that achieve our annual targets.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Play a pivotal role in the business planning process, contributing to the establishment of sales quotas and the execution of annual plans.
- Influence investment decisions in category building blocks, based on category and channel needs, while ensuring excellence in execution at the point of sale.
- Lead the development of the trade marketing component of category annual plans, ensuring alignment with strategic decisions and consumer insights.
- Monitor and analyze competitors’ commercial activities within the category to identify opportunities and potential threats.
- Provide leadership within cross-functional teams, offering accurate channel-specific information that leads to business opportunities, such as innovations, promotions, pricing, and portfolio enhancements.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Strong expertise in category planning and delivering growth through category leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing plans, monitoring results, and making recommendations to achieve growth targets.
- Proficiency in business planning and maximizing revenue growth.
- A proactive mindset focused on driving future growth, staying updated on industry trends, digital solutions, and consumer innovations, and translating them into actionable business plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration across functions such as Field Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Analytical prowess and strong business acumen.
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of brand management and marketing principles.
- Long-term business planning skills and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to gather market insights and translate them into actionable steps.
- Financial acumen, including experience with gross-to-net management and trade spend optimization.
- Proficiency in trade activity planning, including pre- and post-activation impact analysis and ROI calculations.
Education and Experience:
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
