Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales and Relationship Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic planning, building strong relationships with sub-traders and their customers, and achieving sales targets and growth objectives in your assigned region. Additionally, you will be involved in managing performance-based partnerships with dealers, conducting market analysis, and ensuring compliance with Ingredion’s values and standards.


  1. Strategic Planning & Relationship Building:
  • Visit sub-traders and their customers to promote sales and foster interactive relationships.
  • Maintain strong customer relationship management to deliver value to customers.
  • Provide pricing information and make recommendations to management.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies under the guidance of the line manager/director.
  • Achieve sales targets and growth objectives in the assigned region.
  • Explore new avenues and markets based on established criteria.
  1. Managing Performance-based Business Partnerships with Dealers:
  • Take continuous actions to develop the dealer’s team and enhance their ability to serve the market with Ingredion’s offerings.
  • Execute promotions and implement unique trade-related marketing tools to drive growth and share retention.
  • Monitor the market activities of competitors and report to management for decision-making.
  • Embrace modern ways of working, including digitalization, to create efficiencies in the dealer’s business and enhance customer interaction.
  1. Market Analysis:
  • Generate and compile market intelligence and maintain customer profiles.
  • Monitor sales data and stay updated with current market trends and customer needs.
  • Track the sales performance of the distribution network.
  • Stay informed about competitive activities and develop counter strategies to retain business.
  • Continuously analyze data and information to identify the need for adding new dealers.
  1. Extending Ingredion Values to Channel Partners:
  • Ensure the utmost implementation of Ingredion’s vision and values related to compliance and ethics.
  • Implement a zero tolerance policy for non-compliance.
  • Develop and coach dealers and their staff on safety and compliance practices.
  • Ensure high safety standards are followed by dealers and partners as set by Ingredion.
  • Promote the Ingredion safety mindset within dealers.
  • Integrate with dealers under the Rafhan Maize/Ingredion culture, creating opportunities for engagement and implementing best practices.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • MBA in Marketing.
  • Excellent written and spoken English fluency.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and reporting systems.
  • Essential sales experience, with formal training and education in selling skills.
  • Demonstrable and successful sales track record.
  • Detailed knowledge of B2B business and distribution systems, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience.
  • Basic understanding of costing and financial analysis to drive pricing mechanisms.
