Job Description
We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team and help us mature our ServiceNow platform. The candidate should possess a diverse background in ITSM process and have experience with mature ServiceNow implementations. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of Business Analysts and ITSM process leads to strategize, plan, and execute updates – both regular and transformative. Reporting to the ServiceNow Platform Lead, the candidate will be instrumental in helping us to evolve our ServiceNow offerings and provide innovative technical solutions to modernize the end-user experience.
Responsibilities:
• Enhance HRSM modules of Knowledge base Workflows, case management, Skills Management, Advanced Work Assignment, HR Agent Workspace, Virtual Agent, Reporting, and Mobile App.
• Assist in all major project initiatives, enhancements, analysis, and day-to-day support.
• Provide flexible, agile approach to meet changing business needs.
• Drive ServiceNow’s strategic direction and support its continual development and enhancement.
• Work within a team of ServiceNow Administrators and Developers.
• Work with Business Analysts, ITSM Process Leads, and other ServiceNow consulting partners.
• Work on Workday integration which connects HR Modules.
• Support existing Integration ServiceNow with other tools such as Workday, Active Directory.
• Integrate with and support the QA automation team’s activities.
• Play a key role within our ServiceNow development team, including working on ITSM, HRSM, and Integrations.
• Provide sound/scalable development/configuration recommendations that meet business requirements.
• Drive and support automated processes within ServiceNow to facilitate efficient business processes.
• Work within Agile methodologies.
• Partner with UX team to drive improvements to overall user-experience – UI, processes, and information architecture.
• Keep abreast of developments in the ServiceNow platform and bring best practices for process improvements with out of box thinking.
• Create resilient processes and applications that are dependent upon external APIs
• Write and evaluate technical and functional requirements.
Requirements:
• 4-6 years of experience in ServiceNow configuration, development, and management.
• Hands-on experience launching and managing multiple ITSM services.
• Demonstrable experience piloting and driving new modules and functionality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience.
• Strong ServiceNow development and scripting skills.
• Strong JavaScript capabilities.
• Demonstrable experience in scoped application development.
• Experience with custom layouts using Angular.
• Ability to take initiative without explicit direction.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multi-national team across multiple time zones.
Nice to Haves:
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades.
• CSA, CAD, ITSM, ITIL, HRSD, and/or ServiceNow certifications.
• Consulting background.
