Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor the QA team in implementing and adhering to standard practices in QA and QA Automation.
• Provide the development team with an environment to define quality standards using different techniques such as code coverage analysis and acceptance criteria.
• Provide build pipeline and guidance to the team to ensure continuous delivery (CD).
• Architect, train, and evolve the culture of Test Automation from scratch across the dubizzle products.
• Train and collaborate with the teams to write and maintain automated tests across the test pyramid.
• Plan and execute different types of tests using test strategies such as agile testing quadrants and the Heuristic Test Strategy Model.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards and requirements of software quality analysis.
• Interact with other teams and product owners.
• Mentor other QA Engineers in automation tools and best practices, industrial standards, and the latest trends.
• Create and provide information channels and statistical analysis of quality in the product using matrices such as build status, code coverage, and bug analysis reports.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field
• 2 to 5 years of enterprise-class QA experience focused on Automation
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or Swift
• Test automation experience of web apps, mobile apps, and web services
• Experience with writing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Prior experience with Agile and Scrum and testing in an Agile context
• Ability to deliver projects on time in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
• Able to drive and inspire the team to reach the next level
• Excellent insight into automated testing using more than two frameworks
• Understanding of manual testing with the latest trends and matrices
• Performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadUI
• Test frameworks that support BDD such as Cucumber and Lettuce behave
• Build tools such as Ant, Gradle, and Make, Rake
• Web app automation tools such as Selenium/Webdriver
• Mobile app automation tools such as Appium, XCUITest
• Continuous integration servers such as Jenkins, TeamCity, and Bamboo
• General understanding of how operating systems work (Windows, Linux, Mac OSX, Android, and iOS, etc.).
