We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for various key responsibilities as outlined below:
- Perform communication and coordination-related activities within the department and externally, such as making calls, coordinating with participants, and drafting emails.
- Assist in various administrative tasks within the center and provide support to office operations.
- Respond to email and telephone queries.
- Assist in planning and executing tasks related to the Summer School at LUMS.
- Support the team in supervising classes and events.
- Compile and filter data as required.
- Assist with filing, record-keeping, and the collection and preservation of necessary documents for archival purposes.
- Create content for social media platforms and write descriptions for posts.
- Write blogs about Summer School/Young Learners for the website.
- Ensure adherence to any other assigned tasks and deadlines by the Supervisor/HOD.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, participants, instructors, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Effective multitasking skills.
- Excellent follow-up and time management skills.
- Good public speaking and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of photography and video editing software.
- Social media management skills.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university.
