We are seeking a talented Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the growth of our non-tech teams across the MENA region. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and hiring exceptional talent that meets Careem’s evolving hiring needs. As a member of our global talent acquisition team, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, driving the recruitment process to ensure the right fit for our teams.
- Proactively source, screen, and shortlist top talent.
- Collaborate with the business throughout the hiring process, from creating job descriptions to ensuring a positive candidate experience by following established processes.
- Manage effective communication with candidates, setting expectations, and providing a seamless experience.
- Build relationships with candidates, understand their needs, and connect them with opportunities at Careem.
- Partner with hiring managers, offering expertise on sourcing top talent, providing regular updates on recruiting progress, and summarizing recruiting activities.
- Recruit across various functions, including Marketing, Operations, Sales, HR, Compliance, Finance, and more.
- Coordinate interviews, obtain qualitative feedback, and guide candidates through the offer stage.
- Conduct role brief meetings to understand hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements.
- Develop and manage internal and external talent communities.
- Solve problems and provide solutions by identifying alternatives when circumstances change.
- Collaborate closely with other People team departments, including People Engagement, Rewards, and People Operations.
- Experience in either an in-house or agency recruitment role.
- Proficiency with an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) – we use Greenhouse.
- Familiarity with using LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing talent.
- 2+ years of recruitment experience.
- Strong work ethic and a sense of ownership.
