Job Description

Responsibilities: As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for project planning and management of established initiatives within the company. Your main focus will be to ensure that projects are completed according to specifications, within the defined time frame and budget. As the lead subject matter expert in technology, you will provide guidance and support to the team on technology-related matters.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that align client requirements with company goals, and coordinate managers and technical personnel throughout all project phases, from development to implementation.
  • Continuously monitor project progress and provide detailed reports on measurable items such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate with all involved stakeholders to provide support, identify and solve problems, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution process to ensure success in terms of scope, budget, and timeline adherence.
  • Analyze the economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback related to cost-benefit and return-on-investment standards.
  • Review proposed modifications to project plans, including meeting with relevant parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
  • Oversee and support the analysis, design, and development of mobile and web application development projects.
  • Implement Agile-based methodologies to ensure the quality delivery of projects within the allocated timeline.
  • Manage and lead a team of software developers, SQAs, and designers.
  • Anticipate future project details by directly communicating with customers and staying informed about relevant trends and industry news.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Experience working in an offshore software development environment.
  • 10-12 years of software development work experience, with 3-4 years in a project/development management or lead role.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience implementing at least one Agile framework.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies, and methods.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability to work in the US Central Time Zone.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing talent within the technology department.
  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional project management and Agile certification is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
