We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and seasoned Technical Support Engineer to become a valued member of our team. Join us in our mission to provide exceptional support for our GTMatch and IntelliMatch applications. As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of these reconciliation applications across both production and non-production settings. Your primary duties will encompass resolving technical challenges, expert troubleshooting, client support, and fostering collaboration with various teams within our organization.
- Apply your problem-solving prowess to efficiently address technical issues and service requests.
- Extend support to both production and non-production environments.
- Utilize your IT Operations expertise to assist clients with financial applications.
- Effectively manage, troubleshoot, and support day-to-day operations in the IntelliMatch (or similar reconciliation) application environment.
- Contribute to testing efforts and offer insights into application functionality.
- Implement application enhancement requests, including configuring import formats and match rules.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new reconciliation processes and possess experience in application upgrades.
- Skillfully handle tickets, service requests, problem management, escalations, and reporting.
- Establish and utilize tools for prompt issue resolution.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other bank teams to support and troubleshoot end-to-end production environments.
- Craft SQL statements (joins, updates, scripts, etc.) within complex object-oriented database environments.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in task automation through PowerShell, Perl, or Python scripts.
- Exhibit proficiency in comprehending database objects and structure, including tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, joins, and more.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with reconciliation software like Match or IntelliMatch.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Prior experience in an IT Operations role supporting clients with financial applications.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with financial markets.
- Day-to-day operations support of IntelliMatch (or similar reconciliation).
- Expertise in managing, troubleshooting, and supporting.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Over 6 years of relevant technical support experience.
- Preferred 3+ years of experience in IntelliMatch or a similar reconciliation application.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Strong understanding of multi-tier environments.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, covering 24×7 operations.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively, showing initiative when necessary.
- Proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting end-to-end production environments.
- Competence in crafting SQL statements and scripts.
- Hands-on experience in task automation using PowerShell, Perl, or Python.
- Familiarity with database objects and structure.
