Responsibilities:

• Utilize existing data warehouse and other structured/unstructured data from different source systems to create comprehensive customer profiles.
• Provide thought leadership on integrating AI and Data Science into different business areas.
• Collaborate with business heads and departments to deliver advanced analytics, data modeling systems, and actionable insights.
• Work closely with the BI team as a custodian of data science projects, bridging the gap between commercial users and Technology.
• Develop statistical models for predictive analytics, clustering, segmentation, product optimization, recommendation engines, and association rule mining in an open-source architecture.
• Gain a deep understanding of the organization’s business and customer lifecycle across various segments, including branchless, digital lending, and branch lending.
• Perform ad hoc investigative analytics, profiling exercises, and complex SQL queries as part of daily activities.
• Contribute to the development, automation, and governance of data science projects, enhancing customer understanding and enabling targeted campaigns.
• Deliver persuasive presentations on the outcomes of data science projects to stakeholders with diverse areas of expertise.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8+ years of proven experience solving complex business problems using AI/ML and Data Science, with a focus on actionable solutions across the customer journey. Minimum 2 years of team management experience.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Python/R/SCALA and statistical programming tools such as SAS/SPSS/MATLAB. Strong familiarity with data science toolkits like Pandas, Jupyter, SCIKIT, and TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in executing complex queries, extracting, cleansing, and manipulating large structured and unstructured data sets using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Agile experience with iterative development and business feedback.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Applied Mathematics or Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
