Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and improve the performance of utilities equipment
• Identify and execute the equipment performance improvement projects in utilities
• Assess the utilization of current equipment and prepare the feasibility studies for any CAPEX requirement
• Ensure the manufacturing IT infrastructure is up and running all the time
• Obtain all licenses and approvals from government bodies and upgrade them based on expiry periods
• Ensure utilities are available at all times for assigned equipment operations
• Monitor BMS for effective utilization of all the energy outputs and continuous improvement
• Ensure that all MEP facilities are up and running when and where required
• Maintain all the as-built civil and MEP drawings and layouts
• Ensure all utilities equipment operates with optimal cost of chemicals, energy, and manpower
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Coordinate and work with government officials and other inspectors as required. Provide relevant documents, answer queries, and discuss observations with auditors during any quality or assigned equipment audit
• Prepare and perform Annual Shutdown Maintenance in close coordination with Maintenance Team
• Inspect and observe facilities to evaluate the efficacy and quality of mechanical/electrical/utilities systems, components, and products. Also inspect and observe facilities to evaluate the efficacy and quality of electrical systems and components
• Review and act on insights from maintenance KPIs for breakdown hours, expenses, man-hour expenses, equipment/plant-wise via SAP
• Ensure compliance with corrective and preventive maintenance, in accordance with the OEM principle and corporate HSE guidelines, policy, and protocol, and their implementation, review, and according to auditing of the company for HSE/ISO/OHSAS/FSSC/BRC systems
• Ensure spare parts availability in the engineering store
• Responsible for SAP Plant Maintenance Module utilization and integration with Preventive Maintenance Plan, implementation on day-to-day tasks being performed
• Create and monitor all system documents via SAP (i.e Maintenance Orders, Purchase requisition, Material Reservation, Maintenance Plans, Notification, Cost tracker)
• Attend and participate in all meetings, including HSE/Technical/Departmental, to enhance the personnel skills and capability of the department
• Supervise and train maintenance team members as per their needs and engage the maintenance team on behalf of their skill for efficiency improvement of plant and machinery
• Ensure the implementation of the technical training plan for departmental workers

Job Requirements:
• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field
