Supporting the Establishment and Management of a Robust Credit Portfolio While Ensuring Adherence to Credit Policies and Procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate loan applications for completeness, creditworthiness, and data accuracy in alignment with Credit Policies, Procedures, and relevant guidelines.
• Transmit cases to the Credit & Risk Department on a daily basis as required.
• Validate the details of customers, guarantors, and their businesses according to the specifications outlined in the Credit Policy, procedures, and relevant guidelines.
• Detect any instances of Customer Verification issues, service quality gaps, or breaches of ethical/professional conduct by the sales teams/ROs.
• Identify instances of non-compliance with credit policies or procedures, as well as any unethical or unprofessional behavior among team members, and address them promptly.
• Ensure the completeness of loan documents and confirm that each loan application adheres to Credit Policies, Procedures, and other periodically issued guidelines.
• Expedite the verification process and submission of cases to prevent delays in the initiation of loan applications.
• Ensure compliance with defined Turnaround Time (TAT) for field verification in accordance with applicable protocols.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient knowledge of Microfinance prudential regulations and Ubank’s policies, procedures, and products.
• Competency in using banking computer-based software and systems.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Capacity to work efficiently under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum qualification of B.Com/BBA/BSc/BA.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the credit-related field.
