Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic individual responsible for devising and executing the business strategy for designated markets, aligning with our Sales Business Strategic Plan, and overseeing the overall profit and loss (P&L) performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth in the Livestock and Poultry market, fostering relationships with both existing and new distributors, clients, and customers in assigned markets.
  • Enhance sales of current and upcoming product ranges in accordance with group decisions.
  • Ensure delivery of products meeting predefined quality and quantity standards as agreed with customers.
  • Achieve performance objectives, encompassing both top-line and bottom-line targets, through active collaboration with the field business development team, agents, and customers.
  • Cultivate brand strength by leveraging brand assets, promoting brand preference, and overseeing brand communication, such as advertisements and films for the region.
  • Monitor brand health parameters, track brand performance, and propose corrective actions, including area-specific brand plans.
  • Manage receivables from distributors/clients/customers in accordance with group policies and effective risk management.
  • Oversee all aspects of Customer Relationship Management.
  • Develop a robust sales and distribution network framework within a defined geography/cluster, potentially including the setup of the entire supply chain pipeline.
  • Supervise day-to-day local operations, including sales and distribution management, procurement, scheduling, coordination, resource allocation, and staffing.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group’s Head Office, providing necessary assistance to your reporting authority or the Board of Directors when required.
  • Submit periodic sales achievement reports, as per company requirements.
  • Monitor and manage field progress and project cost reports on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure timely completion of control procedures and reporting.
  • Establish project-specific and annual individual goals.
  • Review and update weekly/monthly and quarterly reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Top-line performance based on yearly performance objectives.
  • Bottom-line performance, measured in credit days.
  • Effectiveness of Advertising & Promotions (A&P) activities.

Work Experience Requirement:

  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years of technical sales experience in Feed additives/Premixes.

Qualification:

  • Graduation in Veterinary Sciences/Animal Nutrition.
